Early Bird Competition

  1. To qualify for the competition, entrant must apply for student accommodation with AFHCO Student Living by 31 December 2022.
  2. The competition is not open to juristic persons.
  3. The competition will be open for entries at 8:00 on 8 November 2022 and entries close at 17:00 on 31 December 2022. Entries received after the closing time will not be valid and will be excluded from the draw.
  4. In order to receive a gift, you have to be 1 of 500 students to move in with AFHCO Student Living by 31 January 2022. The R50 000 educational bursary, the entrants must:
    • Apply for accommodation at AFHCO Student Living by clicking here.
    • There will be no cash transferred. You will unlock your gift on the day that you move in with us.
  5. In order to win a share of R50 000, you need to do the following:
    • Take a video of yourself telling us how you would Move Up with a share of R50 000 from AFHCO Student Living.
    • Like/follow our social media pages
    • Post the video on your TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram accounts, tag AFHCO Student Living and your friends.
  6. There will be 10 winners to win a share of R50 000 as part of the AFHCO Africa Housing Company competition. A minimum of 2 winners will be announced every month from November 2022 to March 2023.
  7. The recipient must accept the prize within 2 days of receipt of the email notification failing which, the prize will be forfeited.
  8. This will be announced on our online platforms every month.
  9. If you have not been contacted by the time of announcement, please consider your entry unsuccessful.
  10. The draw will be overseen and verified by AFHCO’s internal Auditors.
  11. The recipient must provide proof of identity in the form of either their valid ID book or valid passport and proof of residence (statement).
  12. Prizes are not transferable and/or negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise.
  13. The recipient must provide evidence of being an AFHCO student.
  14. By entering this competition, the entrants confirm their consent to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  15. AFHCO’s decision regarding any issue with the competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. AFHCO reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time.
  17. By entering into this competition, the entrant gives AFHCO the authorisation to publish the winner’s name, surname, images, including photographs, in the media for promotional purposes without any liability to AFHCO.
  18. The Judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. Promotion disclaimer: AFHCO, its associated companies, agents and contractors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, invasion of privacy or claims based on publicity rights arising in connection with this promotion.
  20. Cancellation: AFHCO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this competition. In such an event, where the initiative is cancelled or suspended, all Customers agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the initiative and acknowledge that they have no recourse against AFHCO, their employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors or promoters.
  21. System Failure: No member of AFHCO is responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of AFHCO which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
  22. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification.
